First things first, you've got to reach out! Once you send me your inquiry, I'll respond within 2 business days. The more details and direct your inquiry is, the less back and forth there needs to be, so make sure you put it all out there! This is where I want to hear ALL about what you've got planned as well as all your ideas. The inquiry stage is about making sure 1. I'm available and 2. that we're a good fit to work with each other!
01 SEND AN INQUIRY
Once I've gotten that inquiry and I'm available, I'll respond back with all my detailed information about my packages and what you can expect when you hire me! After we've established that we're going to work well together, I like to hop on a phone or video call to chat about any details or questions you'd like to cover! From here, the booking process proceeds!
02 MEET & GREET
After all the awkward "getting to know you" phase, we'll start to have fun! Together, we'll start discussing locations for sessions, ideas for outfits, poses as well as everything you're dreaming to do for your special event. I'll give you tips and tricks to make your experience as stress free as possible and to make sure your wedding is everything you ever dreamed of.
03 PLAN THE NITTY GRITTY
After all your hard work and planning, the day is finally here! Put all your trust into the vendors, friends and family you have so thoughtfully picked out to ensure your day is perfect.
04 THE BIG DAY
After the cake has been eaten and your guests get home safe, you're stuck with the memories of the new best day of your life. I know you have some excitement to see the shots from the night before, I've got that excitement too; so I like to send over a handful of previews to you the day after! After you receive those previews, your full gallery will be delivered within a couple weeks!

I get very trigger button happy and snap a ton of photos, generally about 200-500 per half hour! After your session, I go through all the images and pick out all the photos that are in focus, in the frame, and follow the basic qualities that make for a good-lookin' photo. I don't like to be the one in charge of saying you look better in this photo vs that photo, so I try to deliver as many photos as I can! On average, I end up delivering about 25-40% of the images I take.
03 HOW MANY IMAGES ARE TYPICALLY DELIVERED?
Unfortunately, I only offer both photo and video services when booked for the same duration of coverage. This is because my videographer and I are a team on the wedding day, we carpool together, we assist each other throughout the day, and that way your wedding photos and videos all match and cover the same wedding events.
02 CAN WE BOOK TWO DIFFERENT COVERAGE DURATIONS FOR PHOTOgraphy AND VIDEOgraphy COVERAGE?
You're in luck! You don't need to know how much coverage you want in order to book with me! I know that it may be too early in your planning process to know what your wedding timeline will look like and I know that even if you do, it may change a couple of times before your wedding. You have until a month before your wedding to finalize your package! I like to help out with the wedding day timeline as well; so down the road, we'll work together to structure the perfect stress-free wedding day!
01 WE DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH COVERAGE TO BOOK , HOW DO WE CHOOSE THE RIGHT PACKAGE?

All sessions are scheduled during weekdays, specifically Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. My weekends are booked for weddings and often Mondays and Fridays are used as personal, travel and weather reschedule dates. I am a golden hour photographer, so I prefer to shoot during sunrise and sun set times - sometimes afternoons work for indoor sessions!
06 WHAT IS YOUR AVAILABILITY FOR ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS?
I have traveled all across the country and even internationally for my couples! I absolutely love to travel and love the opportunity to take my passions on the road! I do have travel fees. I charge travel fees on weddings outside a 50 mile radius of my home in the DSM metro at the current National Mileage Rate. Events outside 500 miles roundtrip from my home may incur further travel compensation such as hotel stay, gas/plane tickets, etc.
05 HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL AND DO YOU HAVE TRAVEL FEES?
All of my cameras record files to 2 memory cards at the same time within my camera; so if one goes bad in the camera, the other has all the files. After your session or event, I back up all the files to 2 separate external hard drives and to cloud storage. As a third safety precaution, I don't clear or use the memory cards from your day until all your images and videos are edited and delivered to you! You'll receive a handful of edited previews within 48 hours of your event (unless discussed otherwise) and then full photo galleries can be expected within 6 weeks of your event, and wedding films can be expected within 10 weeks of your event!
