First things first, you've got to reach out! Once you send me your inquiry, I'll respond within 2 business days. The more details and direct your inquiry is, the less back and forth there needs to be, so make sure you put it all out there! This is where I want to hear ALL your ideas. The inquiry stage is about making sure 1. I'm available and 2. that we're a good fit to work with each other!
01 SEND AN INQUIRY
Once I've gotten that inquiry and I'm available, I'll respond back with all my detailed information about my packages and what you can expect when you hire me! After we've established that we're going to work well together, we can hop on a phone or video call to chat about any details or questions you'd like to cover! From here, the booking process proceeds!
02 MEET & GREET
After all the awkward "getting to know you" phase, we'll start to have fun! Together, we'll start discussing locations for your session, ideas for outfits, as well as everything you're dreaming to do for this session. I'll give you tips and tricks to make your experience as stress free as possible!
03 PLAN THE NITTY GRITTY
After all our hard work and planning, the day is finally here! Put your trust into the myself and the process, this experience is supposed to be fun - let your guard down, embrace these moments, let's make some memories
04 THE BIG DAY
I know you have some excitement to see the shots from your session, I've got that excitement too; so I like to send over a handful of previews to you the day after! After you receive those previews, your full gallery will be delivered within a couple weeks!

I get very trigger happy and snap a ton of photos, generally, I take about 200-500 images per half hour! After your session, I go through all the images and pick out all the photos that are in focus, in the frame, and follow the basic qualities that make for a good-lookin' photo. I don't like to be the one in charge of saying you look better in this photo vs that photo, so I try to deliver as many photos as I can! On average, I end up uploading about 40% of the images I take.
03 HOW MANY IMAGES ARE TYPICALLY DELIVERED?
GOLDEN HOUR! I love to shoot during golden hour, that's the time of day that's a couple of hours before sunset or about an hour or so after the sun rises. Depending on the time of year you book, the sun could rise at 5 AM or 7 AM and set at 9 PM or 4 PM, so keep that in mind! Indoor sessions can typically be done at any time of day!
02 WHAT TIME OF DAY WORKS BEST FOR SESSIONS?
All sessions are scheduled during weekdays, specifically Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. I am also a wedding photographer, so most of my weekends are booked for weddings and often Mondays and Fridays are used as travel days. Only during December-March are weekend sessions an option.
01 WHAT DATES ARE AVAILABLE FOR SESSIONS?

I have traveled all across the country and even internationally for my clients! I absolutely love to travel and love the opportunity to take my passions on the road! I do have travel fees. I charge travel fees on sessions outside a 30 mile radius of my home in New Virginia, Iowa at the current National Mileage Rate. Projects that take place outside 200 miles from my home may incur further travel compensation such as hotel stay, gas/plane tickets, etc.
05 HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL AND DO YOU HAVE TRAVEL FEES?
All of my cameras have the ability to write files to 2 memory cards within my camera at once; so if one goes bad in the camera, the other has all the files. After your session, I back up all the files to 2 separate external hard drives and to cloud storage. As a third safety precaution, I don't clear or use the memory cards from your day until all your images and videos are edited and delivered to you! You receive a handful of preview images within 24 hours of your session (unless discussed otherwise) and then my turnaround time is dependent on the time of year, but you can expect your full gallery no later than 4 weeks after your session!
